Your Teacher Is A Monster

What a crazy ass couple of weeks. My god, has it only been that long? I haven't been on a computer for non-business reasons in a while and I can't chat at work. Its not that I don't love my friends! Things are just upside down, inside out, and backwards lately.

Do you know what a man without a heart is? A monster. Without a heart to keep him in check, a man will turn into a raving, seething shadow of himself. Without a heart to add balance, understanding, kindness, and love a man is not Dr. Jeckyll. He's Mr. Hyde. He walks over crying little girls and doesn't think about the consequences to his actions. He's lost inside himself. He's mad.

I'm sick. I've been sick since Friday. I actually called into work and took the day off. I never do that. I dunno what it is. I think its a three-some of head cold, flu, and stress. (Some of you might be saying, "Stress? Dave is never stressed!" Oh ho my fine friend. I wish it were so.) Add in the factors of not really eating like I should and getting less sleep than I need, and you've got a weak Davey. I hope it goes away soon, being sick sucks. Stupid non-perfect immune system.

Yesterday was Bodhi Day. I was gonna post something but got really busy. We're doing the traditional tree this year and that means stringing popcorn and tying up little bundles of cinnamon. It looks cute already.

I think I better get to work. I just wanted to say hi and that I'm alive. Have a good weekend!
